Thestrals MLP Style (sorta)

Did I mention I love thestrals? I'm not a huge fan of Harry Potter, but the thestrals...woo boy, they're amazing So I decided to draw them in the MLP style sorta, except I went overboard with lines I based them of the book's description, the movie had them with weird dino beaks. I prefer mine with teeth XD So I decided to kick off October with thestrals In my crazy headcanon that I just thought up on the spot, thestrals in the MLP universe can turn invisible at will and are distant relatives of changelings. They're secretive and mostly live in pairs or small herds deep in remote mountains and forests. They can speak, but prefer not to and normally don't like socializing. And they're carnivorous, which makes most other ponies steer clear of them

So yeah, the one in the front opening her wings is the mare and the stallion's behind her. Yes, I ripped off Soarin's manestyle because I was too lazy to invent a new one that looked good. And yes, they're meant to have black hair, but too much black looks bad so I went with green, because I think green suits thestrals for some reason I tried to make them look draconic, but I don't think it worked Oh wells.

And right after I'd finished this, I read that Luna's guards' design was inspired by thestrals. Double fail for me
